Apolas Lermi was born in the historic city of Trabzon, located on the shores of the Black Sea. He is a distinguished folk music artist who reflects the rich cultural diversity of the region where he was born and raised in his work. To date, he has released six albums and several singles.
Lermi not only draws inspiration from the musical heritage of the Black Sea, but also explores the traditions of neighboring cultures, blending them into his compositions. His collaborations with artists from different backgrounds have contributed to a unique, multicultural musical style.
His songs have been featured in numerous films, television series, and documentaries, helping his music reach a broad audience. Currently based in London, Apolas Lermi continues his artistic journey while performing for audiences across Turkey, Europe, and the United States through various cultural events and concerts.
