A night of astrophotography at Yenyenning Lakes.
We headed off on the 2 hour drive from Perth to Yenyenning Lakes with big expectations - comet C2024 G3 Atlas after sunset, star trails, summer Milky Way and finally our first glimpse of the Milky Way core for 2025 just before dawn.
We knew from the forecast on Windy.com the night could be a bust due to cloud, but it would be worth the trip even if only half our expectations are met.
