In SAP MM (Materials Management), the creation of plants and company codes involves setting up the organizational structure necessary for managing materials-related processes within the SAP system. Here's how you can create plants and company codes in SAP MM:
1. Creation of Company Code:
• Transaction Code: OX02
• Path: SAP Easy Access Menu - SAP Menu - Logistics - Materials Management - Purchasing - Master Data - Organizational Structure - Maintain Company Code
• Alternatively, you can enter transaction code OX02 in the command field and press Enter.
• In the "Maintain Company Codes" screen, click on the "New Entries" button (Ctrl + N) to create a new company code.
• Enter the required details for the new company code, such as company code, company name, currency, language, address, and other relevant information.
• After entering all the necessary information, save your changes by clicking on the Save button (Ctrl + S).
