K1 Under Extrusion Fix ... Creality K1 How To
Note this is a Quick fix and i am still testing it. ( work in progress )
The problem with creality's K1 extruder that the extruder gear does not bite the filament properly ( the gap between the biting teeth is not tight and there is no way to close it further , i tried but the driving gear and the extruder chasses not allowing further tigtening.)
so i thought we do this the old way ... All you need is a M3x6x0.5mm washer/shim ...
The concept is to provide better biting grip on the filament and this was achived by moving the teeth in opposate direction to squeez the filament on the side walls of the extruder teeth.
Note: the thickness of the washer might be critical to how the tensioner is held in place ... if you use a very thick washer the spring loaded ball lock might not hold in place....
