A tour of the main sights and cities of Burma or Myanmar, visiting Yangon (Rangoon), Bagan, Mandalay, the Chin State, Nat Ma Taung National Park with Mt. Victoria, Mingun and a boat trip on the Irrawaddy. Burma/Myanmar is opening up to tourism after 30 years with few visitors. It offers a country still with its own identity, an Asia of 30 years ago before westernization took over.
In the video you see the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, the ruined pagodas of Bagan, The Chin State and Mt. Victoria, the U Bein bridge at Amarapura, the Golden Buddha at the Mahamuni Pagoda. There is also a boat trip to Mingum to see the great unfinished pagoda and to the beautiful Mya Thein Tan Pagoda.
