Deploying mechanically activated downhole tools just got safer! In this first video of a multi-part series, we'd love to introduce to our community the Brace Tool Safety Timer!
In essence, the Brace Tool Safety Timer is designed to eliminate the risks in deploying mechanically activated downhole tools. This tool provides a way for operators to set a timer that will electronically activate the tool after a set amount of time. This gives downhole operators the benefit of placing themselves to safety during tool activation.
In this early development of the Brace Tool Safety Timer, it has been proven to work with the Sandline Cutter. Follow along this series as we develop this tool further to work with a wider variety of downhole tools!
