Where I Grew Up (you can’t believe how beautiful it is) 🇬🇧 英国小镇
This week I'm back in England and walking around the Oxfordshire village where I grew up. The idyllic small village of Wroxton can be found in the. peaceful Cotswolds region of England, just a few miles outside of the market town of Banbury. Banbury is famous for it's cross, and the fine lady upon a white horse who historically visited here.
Despite it's close proximity to Banbury town, Wroxton is a traditional village almost untouched by time. There is no post office or village shop, but it holds something far more exciting: An Abbey.
Wroxton Abbey is a former monastery first built in the 12th century (almost 1000 years ago!) and is now home of Farleigh Dickinson University. The grounds are a treasure and packed with history and tranquil scenery.
In this video we also head to the village of Milton for Miu to try his first ever English Beef and Ale Pie made with locally brewed Hook Norton Beer (Or Hooky to us locals).
