Black Lives Matter | Resources in Description
It is not enough, it has never been enough, to be non-racist. We, every single one of us, has to work to acknowledge that we uphold the biases and systems put into place. We need to unlearn what we have been taught and educate ourselves so that we can help. This is not a moment, it's not a trend, it's a movement. Don't stay silent. If you have a platform, no matter how big or small, use it. Take responsibility for the part you play in the oppression of Black people, and do the work. Nothing will change if we continue to turn a blind eye to it and think that we're not part of the problem.
Unlearn, educate yourselves, listen to Black people, don't speak over them. Share, donate, sign petitions, protest, call representatives and demand change and justice. Use your privilege.
