Even at 74°F and sunny, the inside of a car can heat up quickly. On a mild day like that, temperatures inside a vehicle can reach 90°F+ within 10 minutes and over 100°F in 30 minutes. That can be dangerous for dogs, as they can’t cool down as efficiently as humans.
