Shooting Film in New Orleans
New Orleans is one of my favorite towns. Even in the midst of a pandemic, the spirit is still alive and well. The history and the culture tell their own story. Photographing the city is always a challenge. Specifically, we were limited on time, so we couldn't stay for the best light options, so I made due with harsh light and shadows. I can't wait to hopefully return this winter and have more time to shoot in beautiful light.
Note: This video was shot before mask mandates were activated and we only wore them inside places.
