Former WBC light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk gave a long interview to American media, where he shared his opinion on the upcoming fights of his compatriots and friends: former world champion in three weight categories Vasyl Lomachenko against Masayoshi Nakatani and Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk against WBA, WBO and IBF champion from Britain Anthony Joshua.
Also, Gvozdyk, who currently lives with his family in the suburbs of Los Angeles, said that he does not plan to return to the ring yet, but does not rule out such a possibility in the future.
Recall that next weekend, on June 26 in Las Vegas, Lomachenko will enter the ring for the first time since his October defeat to Teofimo Lopez. He will face serious Japanese lightweight Masayoshi Nakatani. The fight between Usyk and Joshua is scheduled for late September in Britain.
