(NOT RECOMMENDED!) Trying Whole Extra Black Truffle - "Le Ife" Brand
Basically, after searching extensively at Pão de Açúcar, Carrefour, etc., I finally found it at a small market here in the city of Lins called "Bom Preço Gourmet."
The product is "newly manufactured" and cost R$ 85.00.
Everyone says it's delicious and the best thing ever, but my experience was frustrating because it just seems to be solid cooking gas.
People also say that just one sliver is enough to dominate the flavor... but we ate a whole one and it didn't change our experience; it was bland and tasteless.
Maybe it's the brand? Maybe it's the style of the preserve? But we didn't like it.
