During the early stages of my career, I often found myself resistant to change on multiple fronts. This resistance stemmed from a sense of impostor syndrome, leading me to believe I knew best and should stick to what I knew.
As a result, I was hesitant to adapt my processes, preferring to rely on familiar methods for every project. Additionally, I was reluctant to switch software, fearing I might struggle with unfamiliar tools and tasks.
As a result, I ended up clashing with clients and colleagues, which made me fall behind and become less appealing to work with.
After coming to terms with my impostor syndrome and addressing some personal issues, I became more open to change. I realised that the world is constantly evolving, and I needed to adapt to keep up with it.
