I know that many 3D artists rely on their inner senses. And when you ask them, ‘Why did you do it exactly in this way?’, they may answer, ‘Well, I like it this way and it seems that it is beautiful this way. It’s the way I see it’ or ‘I just feel it this way.’
All this suggests a vast experience and trained eye.
That’s why try to study other people’s works as much as possible. Beautiful images and renders, photos and arts. The representation of the 3D renders may be brought to this system:
The first is the composition of the frame and the angle.
The second – what should you draw your viewer’s attention to? What is the main thing in your frame?
The next is picture contrast. It may be positive or negative.
The fourth is the color palette.
It may be an analog or complementary scheme. And may be a much more complex one.
The fifth is the balance of the frame. How much the objects and forms are balanced and rhythmical.
And the last is storytelling, context, and atmosphere of your image.
In our opinion, the most important thing is that you need the composition in the very beginning.
This is the important stage, which you shouldn’t miss. It is better to think it over when you’re about to develop your visualization.
