WHEN CAN I TALK TO MY CHILDREN?
One of the most frequent problems in the field of Family Law is the difficulty many parents encounter when trying to communicate with their children by phone. Some solutions are as follows:
Before a separation/divorce decree is issued, we should request that a specific time frame be established for communication, or include it in the parenting agreement – in Aragon, this is called a "Family Relations Agreement."
Once a separation/divorce decree has been issued, if a time frame for calls is not included in the ruling, there are two alternatives:
A. File a motion to modify the court order requesting the establishment of a specific time frame.
B. Initiate a voluntary jurisdiction proceeding requesting the establishment of a specific time frame.
