Final Fantasy X-2 was released to the West on the Playstation 2 in 2003/2004, whilst the HD remaster was released in 2013. After completing the story of FFX, I feel that it's only natural that we find out the next part of the story!

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is a high-definition remaster of the role-playing video games Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, originally developed by Square (now Square Enix). We are playing on the PC via Steam, with a PS4 controller. Gameplay is streamed to Youtube & Twitch simultaneously through Restream, via OBS.
As a direct sequel to 2001's Final Fantasy X, the story follows Yuna as she seeks for her lost love Tidus and tries to resolve political conflicts in Spira before it can lead to war. Like the preceding game, Final Fantasy X-2 is set in the fictional world of Spira, consisting of one large landmass divided into three subcontinents, surrounded by small tropical islands.
Aesthetically, the world of Spira is essentially unchanged in the two years since Final Fantasy X, however in the absence of Yevon, new groups have formed. By the start of the game, there are rising tensions between the Youth League and New Yevon factions. Both groups have sought out High Summoner Yuna's support, who has instead joined a sphere hunter group with her cousin in hopes of finding a way to bring back Tidus, her lost love who vanished during the ending of Final Fantasy X
I want to immediately express that this play session has a lot of pauses in the action for various moments of stream interaction and discussion. If you are looking for a refined, uninterrupted play through then this might not be an ideal video for you. Just being transparent as I don't want to disappoint anyone.
We do a lot of random, conversational tangents and spontaneous moments in which I stop playing in order to chat to the stream, particularly in the second half. I know that this breaks up the consistency of the play through and can be irritating for viewers that are watching purely for the gameplay. We are pretty new to the whole streaming thing and I'm currently trying to get better at it as we go. Know that I want to bring y'all the best quality that I possibly can and I'm aiming to improve with every stream we do.
