Abstract: Docker and other container technologies offer an exciting path forward to modernize application architectures around microservices and stateless environments. This allows for all kinds of security benefits (which we'll discuss), but your data still needs to live somewhere and be accessible everywhere. Ceph is an ideal software defined storage platform for keeping your valuable data accessible to your Docker environment particularly with technologies like CephFS now part of SUSE Enterprise Storage.
