Why yes. Yes I am. xD
But seriously though, when the trailer first came out everyone was like "WAHHHH AMV TIMEEE" and I was like, "Um, I don't really have inspiration for it, no.." But then, 6 months later, I saw a video to this song and inspiration finally hit me. IT FITS KORRA'S ATTITUDE PERFECTLY!!!! So what can I say? I had to make a tribute to our badass new Avatar x) Luckily I finished most of my homework, so I took this weekend to just slave away at it, and here it it. I have to admit, I'm pretty damn proud of the final result. :3
I used a bunch of clips from the leaked Korra clips for this video, so that explains the rather sorry quality in some parts, lol (and lack of HD), but I did the best I could. x) I'm sorry, but the video wouldn't have worked as well otherwise! They're mainly action clips though, like the ones from the trailer, so they shouldn't be spoiler-y, though if you don't want to see them, then I suggest you don't watch the video. x) If you HAVEN'T seen the leaked clips and you WANT to, you can find download links to them on my website :) However the leaker decided to bestow them with a watermark for a website, so I had to crop them out for this AMV, that's why there's some clips with a slightly wider aspect ratio. It's not pretty, I know, but that's what I get for AMVing to a series that's not even out yet -___- I'll probably update this video and put it on Vimeo or something when the higher quality non-watermarked clips come out, but for now I'll just have to quench any more urges I might get to edit with Korra, at least until the series airs x) Even with the leaked clips though, I had so little material to work with that I opted to go for the freeze-frames and lots of special effects route. x)
