A6500 + Zhiyun Crane Cinematic Video | Deraj Goodish Promo
This was a last minute shoot with @justderaj as a promo for his EP Goodish. I happened to be in town for 2 days and ran out to the location in between running errands. We shot this on a hot Florida day with harsh lighting (doesn't seem like it does it?) but waited until some clouds hovered to get this more moody shot. This final version was actually a clip we thought was unusable as only one of the confetti shooters went off instead of 2. After a few tries, we ran out of confetti shooters so on our way back to the store to get more, our car broke down (Goodish huh?) and then it started to rain (Florida!). No reshoots. Oh well, we used the best clip we could find. I stabilized the shot, slowed it down, and did some other positioning tweaking to make the final product. The color grading on this video was inspired by the feel of the song (moody and somewhat dark). I shot this on a Sony A6500 and a Zhiyun Gimbal at 120fps. The ending text sequences were created by Deraj.
