Android Wifi Obtaining IP address issue workaround

Description:
Some android phones have a wifi issue where it gets stuck at obtaining an IP address from the wireless router. This is a workaround that worked for me - by me. I am not sure if this would work for all of you, but it worked for me.
Keep in mind that this is a workaround and not a solution; if this works for you, it means that you have to do this every time you want to connect to a network that is affected by this issue
Device: Samsung Galaxy S (I9000)
Firmware: Android 2.2 (Froyo)
