One thing I really like to do from time to time is make jokes about characters who happen to share voice actors. When I heard Death Battle was gonna utilise Omni-Man from Invincible in an episode this year, I felt this would be a grand opportunity to get some words about it from Cave Johnson from Portal 2, both characters having been voiced by J K Simmons.
The idea behind a lot of these lines was inspired by the multiverse premise of Portal 2's perpeptual testing initive, in which each custom level takes place in an alternate universe hosted by a different version of Cave Johnson. So I figured, what if there was a parallel universe where Cave was Omni-Man himself?
From the initial teaser shown in the episode prior to the episode of the fight itself, I've been building this up on my friend's Discord server piece by piece over the last couple of weeks, and I'm excited to finally let you all hear every single voiceline I created in Uberduck for the occasion! You'll see the dates for most of the critical info drops about the fight in question as this little video goes on.
