Computer Help needed. Please!

The problem is my computer (Dell 4600) will not power up at all after installing new memory.

How we go to this point: I tried upgrading my system by installing new memory. I was able to remove the old memory with no issues, but when I tried to install the new memory I had lots of difficulty since there was very little play with the release and lock clips due to the Nvidia video card being so close to the clips. I removed the video card and installed the memory just fine and then placed the video card back.

I powered up the computer (the green light came on), but nothing appeared on my monitor except for no signal (it gives that reading if a monitor is not plugged in or the PC is turned off).

I removed the new memory and placed the old memory back, but I got the same issue of nothing on the monitor on the power up. I checked a couple of connections and then when I tried to power up, the green light did not come on, there was no reaction from the PC nor the monitor.

I placed the new memory back in. I compared the wires coming from the power connect and hard drive to a Dell 2400 for some hints since 2 of the wires coming from the hard drive/power connect area were not plugged to the motherboard, but they were connected on the Del 2400. I was hoping to use the 2400's configuration as a hint to where the wires go even though the mother board on the Dell 2400 is the factory original and the 4600 has the MSI motherboard that was installed a couple of years ago.

The wires with the blue wrapping has a tight leash so there isn't much play where it can go. I noticed after connecting it to a section on the motherboard that the PC light came on, but no reaction on the monitor.

Also, I don't recall if the Nvidia video card (Nvidia GEForce 6600) was connected to the power supply. I don't recall removing it from any connectors going to the power supply when I removed the video card.

I was hoping someone out there knows enough about what connections I missed can help me get this main PC of mine back up and running.

I thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
