I am a very keen swimmer who prefers to use swimming earplugs to avoid ear infections. However, I always ran into issues with my plugs. They were either uncomfortable or fell out too easily and I couldn’t hear anything while wearing them. I remember one occasion when I was at the beach with friends and it was so frustrating having to remove my plugs every time I wanted to hear something. But for these reasons I wasn’t willing to spend through the roof for a pair that I might easily lose.
I tried to find an affordable pair of swimming earplugs online that had some kind of hearing function. There was nothing that suited my needs which really surprised me.
Over the last few months, our team has been designing and developing the Subplug. It is a revolutionary swimming earplug that is made up of 4 key components. This plug is not only particularly comfortable and effective at keeping water out of your ear canal but it also allows you to hear by not blocking out sound.
