Introduction to Newsbank
Newsbank is an excellent resource to take advantage of if you are looking for newspaper articles from major national newspapers in the USA, and depending on what library you belong to, it could be free to access! Check out this tutorial (my second overall) about accessing and using Newsbank from the East Baton Rouge Parish Library digital databases. In this video, I demonstrate how to navigate the website Newsbank by searching for "John Mese," in the Baton Rouge Advocate collection, because in the late 80s/early 90s, there were a good number of articles in that newspaper mentioning his work as an actor at LSU in the MFA program. John Mese is another person whom I have interviewed: https://heavycrownpress.substack.com/...
