Columbia Generating Station, 1983 - 2043
On December 20, 1983, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission granted Columbia Generating Station a 40-year operating license. That original license had an end date of December 20, 2023. Thanks to the dedicated workers at Energy Northwest, Columbia Generating Station begins its new era of extended operation for another 20 years.
