Eastbourne Big Wheel - DJI Mini 2 2.7k
The UK's largest transportable Ferris wheel in Eastbourne, standing over a 160ft tall.
This Big Wheel offers panoramic views of Eastbourne and the stunning coastline, with this video showing some of the views taken from a DJI Mini 2 drone in 2.7k 60fps.
Mid-filming, I crashed my drone into the top of the wheel, and it fell the 160ft onto a metal ramp.
I picked up my drone which had some bumps and scratches and an IMU error, but it still flew, so I carried on to capture enough to finish my film.
To be safe, my Mini 2 is going back to DJI for some love and care to make sure everything is how it should be, hopefully I'll be back up and flying again soon to get some more drone footage for my YouTube channel.
The DJI Mini 2 is an amazing piece of tech, I'm flabbergasted it survived such a fall, what does the Mini 3 have in store for us if it's to supersede the 2, I'm super excited to see.
