Quake II Enhanced. Nightmare 100% Unit 1 Walkthrough with commentary
Quake 2 was an important FPS for my in my teenage years and I'm thrilled its now been remastered! I'm playing one unit at a time, going for 100% kills, secrets and goals on the Nightmare difficulty. I used to only play on hard so this will be something new for me! Some of these levels I haven't played in 20 odd years!
I first check out the brand new tutorial, which is a nice quick touch for anyone who isn't familiar with the game. They demonstrate a few things quickly including the new optional compass

1:42 - Weapons and enemies with armour
2:24 - Tutorial done
2:57 - Intro cutscene
6:34 - Gameplay begins! Outer base map
7:26 - Shotgun acquired
10:39 - Completing Outer base, Starting Installation
11:41 - Machine gun acquired
14:07 - Starting Comm Center
14:50 - Moving to Secret Level, Lost Station
19:33 - Rushing with invincibility,
19:44 - Super Shotgun acquired
21:41 - Somehow missing some enemies
25:06 - Now at 100% returning to Comm Center
27:16 - Holes in the floor from the alarm and explosives!
28:46 - Communicating with mothership
29:09 - Almost suffering first death
29:43 - Yes their grenades have vertical aim now too!
30:51 - Comm Center finished, back to Installation
32:03 - Quad rampage at the end!
32:39 - Unit now at 100%
32:57 - Exiting unit, gathering achievement
33:15 - End of Unit cutscene
