A playthrough of the Quake 25th Anniversary remaster by Nightdive in the Kex Engine. This is on Nightmare difficulty and going for 100% kills and 100% secrets. I'm recording this separate to the original release as AI and other changes have subtle but material impacts on gameplay, strategy and difficulty
This map is fun and leans hard into the memories of the original end map, water section with fish, bunches of shamblers and vores, a few scrags and some of the shapes of the map are very familiar. I feel the original end map is harder than this.
