GTA-online - slipperiness
The vehicle oil slick was already a weapon in GTA 2 and could be mounted in a car in a Car Shop wich you throw in the ground and make other vehicles slip on ground without damaging it.
Slick mines cause a vehicle to lose control for a bit, rendering their steering, acceleration and braking capabilities useless under such effect. Sticky mines potentially slow down a vehicle, unable to accelerate while on the sticky oil pool.
