This video is about charging a mobile phone by using a small-scale solar panel. The power comes out of the panel flows through a voltage regulator and to the mobile. Most of our mobile batteries charge with 5V but the amount of current changes, hence I have used a 7805 type voltage regulator in the circuit.
The solar panel generates electricity proportional to the intensity of the sun rays. So the energy generated by the panel is not uniform. Hence it is compulsory to use a regulator as described in the video.
