"Anne of Green Gables" is a book that I love. I first read it when I was around 10 years old.
It was written in 1908, so some of the vocabulary (and sentence structure) is different from what you might hear today. This book is not for beginners and will prove to be a challenge, even for advanced English learners. But, if you'd like to learn a higher level of English, (or enjoy reading classic novels), then come for the ride with me!
