BMI (Body Mass Index) = Body Weight (kg) / Height (m)2

The main components of a lipid profile include:
1. Total Cholesterol: The total amount of cholesterol in the blood.
2. LDL (low-density lipoprotein, "bad" cholesterol): These particles carry cholesterol from the liver to cells. They play an important role in providing cells with the cholesterol needed to build cell membranes and synthesize hormones. However, if LDL levels become too high, it can pose a risk to cardiovascular health.
3. HDL (high-density lipoprotein, "good" cholesterol): These particles carry cholesterol back to the liver for processing or elimination from the body. Elevated HDL levels are considered beneficial for health.
4. Triglycerides: This is a form of fat stored in cells. They are one of the body's main energy sources. They are obtained from food and formed in the intestines, liver, and adipose tissue. With excess calorie intake and a sedentary lifestyle, adipose tissue stores triglycerides as an energy source. Elevated triglyceride levels may be associated with the risk of cardiovascular disease.
