RUMAAN ALAM (bestselling author of Leave the World Behind and the stunning new novel Entitlement) revealed how he learned to be bold, and reminded us of the power that our formative literary influences wield throughout our lives.
CHARLES KING (acclaimed historian and author of eight books) explored the evolution, legacy and impact of the choral work which inspired his newest book, Every Valley: The Desperate Lives and Troubled Times That Made Handel’s Messiah (an oratorio which he calls the “sonic pumpkin spice latte” of the holiday season).
