This patient had her veneers done and she was disappointed with the result. She had never seen them before cementation day and didn’t get a chance to make changes. She was never happy with how long and bulky they were but it was too late. We always start our treatment with a smile design, incorporating facial, dentofacial, and dentogingival esthetics. We incorporated smaller teeth and less volume in the front, while adding some volume to the premolar areas on her left side.
Planning is under-appreciated. It is the most important prerequisite to success. It defines the path to success and keeps things moving along smoothly for the patient, dentist, and technician. I do all the planning and design myself so I can be familiar with the treatment details
