Dreamy pop/rock from the Netherlands - "Foreign Places" is the closing track on Secret Molecules' self-titled debut album (2022).
As the final song on the record, Foreign Places takes the listener somewhere different. A reflective track with layered guitars and warm vocals by Otto van Gemert, backed by the tight rhythm section of Casper Rosenquist and Ton van der Kolk. Govert van der Kolm adds depth with his Hammond organ playing.
Secret Molecules combines the experience of musicians from Fervid, The Soul Snatchers, Trio Koko and The Jazzinvaders into fresh, melodic pop/rock that sits somewhere between Crowded House and The Jayhawks.
