Neural Networks and Deep Learning EXPLAINED | Intro: What, How, Why?
As they say, 10 years ago Data Science was in hipe ("the sexiest job of the 21st Century"), and 5 years ago Data Engineering.
Now it is time for AI experts, LLMs, ChatGPT, and this stuff. The technology changes rapidly.
Is it possible to stay up-to-date with it and get the most out of it?
Yes, I would say, but we need a strong foundation at first. For example, Data Science and Machine Learning it is not about cool and fancy stuff but more about understanding the basics really well, something as boring as Statistics, Linear Algebra, and Calculus.
Similar to that, before jumping onto the wagon of LLMs it is important to understand the basics of Artificial Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
I created this video to share my on-the-spot improvisation on this topic. Specifically, I wanted to describe what are artificial neural networks (ANNs), and deep learning, why should we care about them, and give a couple of examples from different fields, like finances (stock market prediction), mobility (self-driving cars), weather forecasting, etc.

It is a big topic and I can go deeper in this rabbit hole but this video was mostly intended for beginners and enthusiasts in data science, large language models, and machine learning.
