Saab 9-5 Hits 300,000 miles
My 2000 Saab 9-5 Gary Fisher edition wagon hit 300,000 miles on my way home from work. Engine, starter, radiator and a/c compressor are all original, it’s had 2 transmissions 1 at 208k and other 280k. Cutch was replaced at 208k with the trans, all other items on this car have been replaced my myself. It’s been a good car but things are starting to take a told has ABS problems a hard misfire when you floor it from a dead stop but runs perfectly fine other wise, rust/rot is taking over underneath on the unibody rails, rear fender wells and floors so it’s tough to say if it will make it to 400k but we will see.
