More technical details:
*Sigma 23mm f/1.4 DC DN*
This lens offers a 35mm equivalent field of view, making it a very versatile lens for street photography, landscapes, travel, family portraits, and even contextual landscapes.
It's an autofocus lens compatible with all Fujifilm continuous focus modes, and it's very quiet and precise.
It's fully compatible with Fujifilm, including aberration correction, so your photos will turn out perfectly.
It's splash and dust resistant. Made in Japan, its build quality is evident.
It's very compact, weighing 335 grams and measuring almost 8 centimeters long with a 52mm diameter.
Being f/1.4, it's a very interesting lens for low-light situations, and even for taking certain portraits with very shallow depth of field. It performs very well at f/1.4, achieving excellent color definition with minimal noticeable corner distortion.
The closest focusing distance is 25cm, and it includes a lens hood if you prefer to protect your lens without an additional filter.
Its price is €499.
*Sigma 100-400mm f/1.4 DC DN*
This is a zoom telephoto lens equivalent to a 150-600mm field of view on a full-frame camera.
It has a wide aperture of f/5 to f/6.3, making it perfect for daytime photography and other challenging lighting situations with a tripod. However, it also features excellent image stabilization, which I'll discuss later.
In terms of focusing capabilities and compatibility with Fujifilm's continuous focus modes, it's also perfectly synchronized. I was surprised by how quickly and accurately it focuses.
Improved optical stabilization compared to the versions already available for Sony E and L-Mount. Up to five stops of stabilization in the new X-mount version versus four stops in the version for other mounts.
In this new version, the AF/MF switch and AF Lock button have been replaced by AF-L/AF and AF FUNC, respectively. This AF-L/AF switch allows you to assign a specific function to the AF FUNC button: if you assign it the AF-L function, pressing it will lock the focus; if, on the other hand, you assign it AF, it will allow you to focus independently of the shutter release.
The lens barrel has several levers and buttons to manage and configure the different autofocus modes, as well as the lens's image stabilization mode, without having to access menus.
It features a lever that allows you to deactivate stabilization, activate it in mode 1 (only when shooting), or mode 2, continuously stabilized (useful for continuous autofocus and burst shooting).
It stabilizes up to 5 stops and can be combined with your sensor's stabilization if your Fuji camera has it, such as the XT4, XT5, or XH series.
For such a long telephoto lens, it's not as heavy or long as some other brands. It weighs 1.135 kg. Photos from 100mm to 400mm are surprisingly sharp and free of aberrations. It focuses very quickly and accurately, achieving the best results almost from its maximum aperture of f/5.
Like the 23mm f/1.4, it's splash and dust resistant. It includes a protective lens hood and is very well made, feeling very solid.
Fantastic for nature shots, sports, or even more abstract or creative photography where you need to compress planes and are looking for unique photos.
