SMIRT NC is very fast! (Episode 4)
Profile machining of an extruded face with complex geometry is easy and fast with SMIRT NC. A plunge milling path along with required re-machining, is created in this example. It’s worth noting that plunge milling is just one of the cutting strategies available for profile milling. Also in this case, the simple SMIRT workflow, with no CAD preparation, leads to great efficiency!
