Demo: Bucket Buster Tool for 5-Gallon Buckets
To conform with shipping regulations for Environmentally Hazardous Substances, Nazdar has sourced a new five (5) gallon container.
These new buckets do not have tear tabs and feature a lid with a tighter seal to the bucket. Conventional pail openers will not easily open this new bucket construction.
To open the new buckets, Nazdar recommends the “Bucket Buster” tool, available from the Cary Company. To use the Bucket Buster tool:
1. Hold the Bucket Buster pointed downward and hook lever under lid.
2. Push handle downward until anchor engages reinforcing rib. Push until seal “snaps” free.
3. Release pressure. Slide 2-3 inches around lid and push down again.
4. Repeat the process until the lid releases from the bucket.
