Crochet skirt (2-4 years old)
Yarn : medium weight #4
Hook : 5.00mm
Measurement : 21 inches / 53.34 cm (waist un-stretch)
11.50 inches / 29.21 cm (heigth)
Make a slip knot
Chain 60 & slip stitch first and last chain together
Round 1 : chain 2, 60 dc. Slip sts
Round 2 : chain 2, * 1 fpdc, 1 bpdc * , repeat * to * till end. Slip sts
Round 3 : repeat round 2
Round 4 : chain 2, 60 dc. Slip sts
Round 5 : chain 2, * 4 dc, 2 dc next sts *, repeat * to * x12 . Slip sts (72 sts)
Round 6 & 7 : chain 2, 72 dc. Slip sts
Round 8 : chain 2, * 5 dc, 2 dc next sts *, repeat * to * x12 . Slip sts (84 sts)
Round 9 & 10 : chain 2, 84 dc. Slip sts
Round 11 : chain 2, * 6 dc, 2 dc next sts *, repeat * to * x12 . Slip sts (96 sts)
Round 12 & 13 : chain 2, 96 dc. Slip sts
Round 14 : chain 3 (count as dc), 2 dc in same sts, skip 2 sts, * 3 dc in same sts, skip 2 sts *, repeat * to * x 31. Slip sts at 2nd chain. You should have total 32 granny sts.
Slip 3 sts before start new round
Round 15-17 : repeat round 14. Slip 3 sts before start next round.
Round 18 : chain (count as sc), skip 1 sts, * shell sts with picot (1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, chain 3, slip sts, 1 hdc, 1 sc) all in same sts, skip 1 sts, 1 sc, skip 1 sts * , repeat * to * till end of the round. Slip sts at the chain 1 at beginning of the round.
You should have 24 shell with picot sts
Chain 1, cut yarn and weave in ends
Make a long chain for waist string
