This is an early version of the first song on "The Beautiful Darkness." The album has become so much more than what was envisioned at its inception years ago. Though music, poetry, and photography, it will tell a vulnerable story of personal darkness, of the will to stop hiding it, the decision to reach in and wrestle it out into the light. The following poem is an early draft, and not the same as the poem that's in the art & poetry book that goes with the album.
