Pennywise in Trapcode Form (After Effects)
This week's 30 minute timed motion graphic I thought it was fitting to use Pennywise due to Halloween! Happy Halloween to all!
I produced this effect by using Trapcode form. I first put in the photo of Pennywise, then created a new solid and threw trapcode on it. I put a base form to the size of the comp and 1 particle in z space. Then I mapped the particles to the color and alpha to the Pennywise photo.
I achieved the depth of the particles by duplicating the pennywise photo and tinting it, changing the full black to a lighter black, and full white to a darker white. I mapped that to the displacement in Trapcode form and threw a fast blur to smooth out the transition.
Lastly I masked the background and mapped that to the fractal noise in Form. Added a camera and voila!
