God was very active with humanity in the Old Testament. In the New Testament we have Jesus Christ, who is God, interacting with humanity - however, God the father is much less involved when in comes to the New Testament. Bring it forward to today, how much is the divine God involved with our day to day lives? Does God interject, change things, alter life circumstances, etc?
I love the bible, but I love truth & honesty more, because they are the essence of God. The bible is not perfect or without error, but the God of the bible is.
