Concrete Floor Crack Repair - Step 1 - Exposing Fresh Concrete
In this video, we cover using a hammer and chisel to open up the crack a bit so that we have a fresh, clean surface to bond to with repair mortar and so that we can get a reasonable amount of mortar in the crack to provide a sound repair. We aim for about finger to thumb width when doing this. WEAR EYE and HAND PROTECTION!
