Welcome to my latest project! In this video, I demonstrate a Regenerative Braking System using Arduino, which mimics how electric vehicles (EVs) recover energy during braking. This system helps improve efficiency by converting kinetic energy into electrical energy and storing it in a battery.

📌 What You'll See in This Video:
✅ Overview of the Regenerative Braking System
✅ How the motor runs in normal operation (Red LED ON)
✅ Braking process using a potentiometer
✅ How the motor acts as a generator (Green LED ON)
✅ Storing generated energy in a battery
✅ Real-time RPM display on LCD
✅ Full braking and motor stop detection

🔧 Components Used:
🔹 Arduino UNO
🔹 DC Motor
🔹 L298N Motor Driver
🔹 LCD Display with I2C
🔹 Potentiometer
🔹 LED Indicators (Red & Green)
🔹 Battery Pack
🔹 Diodes & Capacitors

🚗 What is Regenerative Braking?
Regenerative braking is a technology used in electric and hybrid vehicles that allows the motor to work as a generator during braking. As the vehicle slows down, the motor converts the kinetic energy of the moving vehicle into electrical energy, which is then stored in the battery for later use. This process improves energy efficiency and extends battery life.
