Create a Bootable External USB key for Installing macOS Catalina
This video guides you on how to wipe & format a USB Key to make it a bootable one to install macOS on a MacBook or iMac. This method can be used on either systems and to gain access to the drive selection upon startup. To make it bootable you have to download software to create the disk image on the USB key.
Tools I used to do this:
Disk Utility (free and provided on your MacOS System)
USB Key (At Least 8GB is needed I suggest a 16gb key or higher)
Disk Creator (from Macdaddy.io)
iMovie
