Metroid Prime Remastered (Part 15) – Elite Pirate
The Phazon Mines are the result of the Pirates trying to dig deep into the core of Tallon IV for the substance they value now: Phazon. Security is tight in the mines: patrols are frequent, automated cannons are set up in key points, and the Pirates have begun upgrading their troop arsenal with inferior but potent reverse-engineered weaponry. But the strange readings of testings of Phazon on Pirate troops themselves...
...Well, those readings outline the reason why those Pirates are stored in large pods. Those Elite Pirates are indeed some mad creatures!
Mini-boss: Elite Pirate (15:00)
Nothing too fancy in taking down the Elite Pirate. Just drain its health with Charged Shots or Super Missiles and it'll eventually collapse. Still, watch out for that massive Plasma Artillery Cannon, the massive swipes it takes with its retractable bayonets, the Wave Quake Generator, and the energy syphon system that sucks in any blast coming its way.
