I purchased the Elgato Wave XLR to primarily use with my Shure SM7B and Sennheiser MKE 600 microphones. This is my real-world use scenario for this audio interface. I wanted to see if this product would fit my needs and allow me to get the best audio possible for my YouTube and Twitch videos. So far, I am super happy with the results of this product and I believe this is a hands-down recommendation for many streamers, podcasters, and content creators. The Wave XLR offers up to 75 dB of ultra-low-noise gain and 48v of phantom power to bring condenser microphones to life. Elgato also offers a Wave Link software to allow for the ultimate control of your microphone, other audio channels as well as custom control over what you hear.
