DDW21 A blast from the past – Studio Joachim-Morineau
During the Dutch Design Week 2021, Studio Joachim-Morineau curated "A blast from the past", an exhibition that showcased projects with a Greco-Roman inspiration. They invited a few emerging designers from France, Belgium and the Netherlands to exhibit along with their "Archetypes" collection, in our studio space in Eindhoven, Strijp-T.
From questioning the use of ornamentation to the re-interpretation of Roman archetypes with modern production methods, "A Blast from the past" is a celebration of past aesthetics.
